One of the challenges for the Wildrose Alliance in Alberta is to avoid looking like they are the new home of political extremism in Alberta.
The cautious first steps in that direction happened when they selected Danielle Smith as the party's new leader. Today, Rob Anders just undid that step by taking out a WRA membership.
A progressive voice shining light into the darkness of regressive politics. Pretty much anything will be fair game, and little will be held sacred.

I'm voting for the Wildrose Alliance because Craig Chandler is one of their main organizers. The PC party did not treat him fairly.
Thanks for proving my point
The point is that only the Wildrose Alliance is a true conservative party. The PC's are "Phony Conservatives".
If being "true conservative" means attracting all of the wingnut extremists, then conservatism in Alberta has truly lost its way.
Conservatism in Alberta is now characterized by narrow minded, mean spirited, bigoted, hate-filled, short sighted, social darwinists.
Having compassion for others is a trait that is distinctly lacking in today's conservatives.
