Talk about abusing tragedy. Yesterday, one of Canada's soldiers was killed in Afghanistan.
Today, I find Lifesite trying to politicize this soldier's death by claiming it was all the fault of the feminists.
I can't even begin to describe how utterly offensive that is. (I will leave dissecting the utter illogic of Lifesite's article as an exercise for the reader - I'm to utterly disgusted with it to foul this space with their offal)
A progressive voice shining light into the darkness of regressive politics. Pretty much anything will be fair game, and little will be held sacred.

It's a bloody WAR people!
If you are in the War zone, death is a known side effect. It doesn't discriminate between gender, race, age or sexual preference. If you get in the way of a bullet, or shrapnel from a bomb, well... it's a "natural" outcome.
So, remind me - just why is Harper banging his war drums, and going out to rally the troops - does he want his own special war, just like his hero Bush? Bah!
Vive le Canadianne... at least until we go to a senseless and bloody war.
