So Harper thinks it was an accident. Talk about MISSING THE POINT!
When Israel's army was supposedly in routine contact with that outpost, and it gets bombed, there are only a handful of plausible explanations:
1. It was deliberate.
2. Command incompetence that gave incorrect instructions.
3. Gross ineptitude on the part of the pilot.
I imagine we'll start hearing all sorts of interesting phrases in the next few days about this.
A progressive voice shining light into the darkness of regressive politics. Pretty much anything will be fair game, and little will be held sacred.

The interesting phrases have already started. Kofi Annan said "I am shocked and deeply distressed by the apparently deliberate targetting -----". To which the Israeli ambassador to the UN replied "I am shocked and deeply distressed by the hasty staement of the Secretary General.." caloing his words "premature and erroneous". Those last words show an absolute disregard the Israelis have for consequences of their actions. But then they are supported by the US and can thus get away with it all.
