Former Premier Peter Lougheed has been quite circumspect in refraining from comment on Ralph Klein's government over the years. However, now that change is afoot in the Alberta PC party, he is speaking out:

They are both lengthy articles (for current media standards), but worth the time to read. Lougheed remains head and shoulders above the current lot of politicians running this province, and his foresight and vision continue to be miles ahead of any likely successors to Ralph.
